Over half of young adults now have one or more chronic health conditions

A recent study by the CDC (click here) found that 54% of Americans aged 18-34 have one or more chronic health conditions such as obesity, depression, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, asthma, and arthritis. Sadly, this will lead to even worse problems such as heart attack, stroke, cancer, dementia, and ultimately, premature death.

Comments: I have written about such topics before. Millennials are aging at a faster rate than Baby Boomers (click here). Also, nearly half of people in their 40s are now showing early signs of frailty that are typically seen in people aged 70-75 (click here). It doesn’t have to be this way! By following the same healthy diet and lifestyle recommendations I give to my cancer patients (click here), you and your adult children can increase your chances of living a long and healthy life.
