Computer programmers are ignorant when it comes to health and longevity. Here’s what they are overlooking when it comes to developing meaningful ways to improve health and longevity: It is a principle that is a constant and unchangeable pillar upon which all biology is based. That biological principle is survival. Survival dictates a hierarchy of life functions that might be considered philosophical, yet it is the only viewpoint that makes sense. Survival is the underlying reason for every biological action that defines life. In times when so much research being done searching for the best way to improve health and longevity, it’s crucial to examine the principle of survival. Our bodies operate in a manner that always makes biological sense.
Fortunately, the “secret” to living a long and healthy life does not require taking a ton of expensive vitamin supplements (with dubious safety and effectiveness), stem-cell therapy (often with over-hyped promises), or personal trainers (who often know nothing about exercise physiology). Furthermore, it is not dependent on being “lucky” enough to have good genetics or long telomeres. And it certainly doesn’t require a supercomputer!
