In fact, it can add up to 7 additional years to your life. Moderate exercise in the form of walking can halve the risk of dying of a heart attack. It can also improve cognition and retard the onset of dementia. Exercise have even been found to help repair old DNA.
Exercise provides benefits at whatever age a person starts. The more active you are, the greater benefit you are going to receive.
