Just 1 in 10 older adults are getting optimal sleep

At the 2022 annual congress of the European Cardiology Society, Dr. Aboubakari Nambiema presented the findings of his study that found that only 10% of older adults ages 50 to 75 get optimal sleep (click here). Optimal sleep is defined as getting 7-8 hours of sleep per night, never or rarely having insomnia, almost never needing to take a nap, not suffering from sleep apnea, and generally being a “morning person.”

Comments: Lack of sleep is dangerous to your health and well-being.
