Average life expectancy going DOWN

For the first time in decades, life expectancy in the United States has dropped. The average lifespan for women is now 81.2 years and for men is 78.8 years. The highest life expectancy in the world is in Monaco where people there live almost a decade longer at 89.5 years. Chad has the lowest life expectancy at 49.8 years.

One of the most fundamental ways scientists measure the well-being of a nation is by measuring how long its citizens can expect to live. There’s not a better indicator of overall well-being than life expectancy. The fact that is is going down in the U.S. is concerning. Especially concerning is that most of the decrease is being seen in people younger than 65.

While the overall death rate for Americans from cardiovascular disease is declining, deaths are up from cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and diabetes. The obesity epidemic is likely playing a role in all of this.

Comments: As one of the nation’s leading experts in metabolic and nutritional medicine, I have the proper academic credentials, scientific expertise, and advanced clinical skills needed to reverse disease, combat the effects of aging, and increase longevity. Half of our patients are healthy and are looking for a doctor that can help them live longer and maintain their vitality well into their 80’s and 90’s. We provide these patients with the proper information and therapeutic interventions needed to combat the mental and physical decline that comes with aging, and slash their risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimer’s disease. The other half of our patients are quite ill unfortunately. They are looking for a doctor with the knowledge and experience to help them recover their health and enjoy renewed vitality.
